Sunday Youth Education
Our Sunday morning classes are designed to accommodate ages Pre-Kindergarten through High School. All of our classes are using Bible based materials designed to teach who Jesus is as Savior and develop a general knowledge of the Bible and how to apply it to daily living.
Pre-Kindergarten thru Second grade is taught as a group, or subdivided according to attendance. The class is primarily taught by Jamie Baldwin who is using Christ Light Sunday School materials.
Third thru Fifth grade is taught by Jennifer Hackworth who is also using Christ Light Sunday School Materials.
Sixth thru Eighth grade is our confirmation class which is taught by Mark Oestmann. Confirmation is designed to develop a deeper understand of the major teachings and doctrines of the church. This includes teachings on creationism, the Trinity, 10 commandments, creeds, baptism and communion to name a few. The class is taught on a middle school level with plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion.
Sunday Adult Bible Class
This class is geared to all adults who wish to grow in their understanding of God’s word and how it applies to everyday life. The age range of attendees is from young to senior adult. Currently, the high school age group is attending this class. The class is taught by Pastor Sundbye who has a very comfortable teaching style that allows for questions and discussion. Beginning September 2018 the class will begin a study that compares Lutheran practice and theology to other denominations and religions.
